Optics - Activities & Virtual Labs
April 13, MONDAY
ACTIVITY #1: PHET Mixing Color & Light
Purpose: To investigate the color light seen when two or three beams of color light are mixed in different ratios.
Instructions > Read the instructions in the document. > Watch the video of the simulation. > Record the data. > Answer the questions If you cannot print the document, neatly create a data table on a sheet of paper (like the one in the document). Neatly fill in the table with the answers. Print your answers to the questions. Take a photograph of the table & questions and submit on Google Classroom. You can also download the editable version to type in the DIRECTLY blanks on the document. |

ACTIVITY #2: Benchtop Optics: Mirrors and Reflection
Purpose: To investigate how planar, convex, and concave mirrors reflect light.
Instructions > Read the instructions in the document. > Watch the video of the exercise. Pause the video after each image change. > Observe the mirror and beams of light > Answer the questions If you cannot print the document, neatly print answers on a piece of paper. Take a photograph of the table & questions and submit on Google Classroom. You can also download the editable version to type DIRECTLY in the blanks on the document. |
